Initially, this project started off quite basic but quickly evolved and progressed. It's fair to say that it was somewhat over-engineered, as the steel was primarily used to create a walkway and platform.
Nonetheless, the combination of box section steel and circular hollow posts, complete with several angled stubs, made this a challenging fabrication job. The team excelled, ensuring that the steelwork fit together effortlessly on-site, which contributed to the beautifully finished project. It's just a shame that the steel was then covered, never to be seen again. Since the underside of the platform remained exposed, all steel needed to be hot-dip galvanized. This always introduces a level of complexity because it's difficult to make any adjustments on-site. Comments are closed.
